I love the bright, mixed colors and fun energizing patterns! You did a wonderful job on adding the expression to match the scene and I admit, there's no doubt you had fun with this creature! <3

I would suggest as for future reference, that you'd add more hard shadows to bring out the finer details of the character. So instead of just having the feathers look plastic-y add maybe, some harder textures to them (it's something I have issues with myself ) and it would look like she/him was literally jumping/flying and flapping in the air. And maybe next time, make the chest hair a little more organized. Unless she/he's moving REALLY fast and the hair is whipping around all over the place!

True! C: Then I'd suggest you'd make some things (like the gray shadows, make them cell like) a little more simple, but that's it. Otherwise if you're going for that particular look, you did fine.
